CYBELEC Wireless angle protractor

Control Works sells, installs and sets-up Cyblec’s wireless angle measuring system for press brakes.

Over the life of the average machine hundreds of productive hours are lost by operators having to manually measure finished bends and then input the results into the control system. Control Works offers Cybelec’s automatic angle measuring system that allows the operator to check the angle of a finished bend using a wireless angle measuring protractor and then send the results to the control system without any manual intervention. The system eliminates operator reading and input errors completely, increasing production and minimizing reworking and rejects. Data transfer is initiated with a button on the measuring device or with a pedal that is wirelessly connected to the system. All the operator has to do is place the protractor against the formed part.

The electronic angle measuring system does not require any new wiring and works directly with Cybelec DNC 880S and Modeva control systems via a USB connection. Control Works can install and set up a complete system within a day. We also offer training for operators and programmers.
