Our Team

David Cossey

David Cossey was born in the UK and studied Mechanical & Production Engineering at Leeds Polytechnic, then electronics & microprocessor systems at Bradford Technical College. Prior to becoming involved with industrial machinery he worked in the Aerospace industry as technician repairing and servicing actuation systems for military aircraft, and guidance controls for weapon systems.
For 25 years he has worked for several major CNC press manufacturers, in service, applications and machinery sales. He founded Eurobrake in 2003 and merged the company with Control Works in 2013.

David Locke

David Locke studied electrical engineering at DeVry Institute of Technology, with further studies in electromechanical technology and process controls at the College of DuPage and Mechanical Engineering at Kennedy Western University. David’s technical career started at Process Technologies Group, a process controls company specializing in tonnage and force monitoring. While at PTG, David quickly advanced from a field service engineer to Technical Director. David’s career continued at CM Automation. As the Engineering Manager, at CM Automation, he managed a group of mechanical engineers, a machine shop and panel shop. After a short stint as an electrical engineer for a Formtek company, David founded Control Works, Inc.

Amen Allen

Amen Allen studied Mechatronics engineering at Birzeit university in Palestine. He Pursed his MSc Degree in Business administration at Altinbas university in Turkey. In 2016, Allen got an internship at Consolidated Contractor Company (CCC) in Qatar, a construction company that offers commercial project management, engineering, procurement, and construction services. Allen worked as teacher assistant (TA) in mechanical and mechatronics department at Birzeit university in 2018. In 2017, Allen’s automation career started by working on 5 stages agriculture machine to design and program each individual stage, then he became a team leader in Turkey to improve the agriculture machine. Allen Joined Control Works in 2021.
